Step-by-Step Removal Process
Prepare Your Workspace: Choose a well-lit area with a mirror. Lay a towel or cape over your shoulders to protect your clothing.
Section Your Hair: Divide your hair into manageable sections using hair clips. Start from the bottom layer, working your way up.
Apply the Remove: Apply Remover directly onto the tape bonds of the extensions. Ensure the adhesive area is fully saturated.
Allow the Remover to Work: Wait for 30 seconds to 1 minute to let the remover penetrate and loosen the adhesive. For stubborn bonds, you may wait up to 3 minutes.
Gently Remove the Extensions: Starting from one side, gently peel apart the tape-in extensions. If you encounter resistance, apply more remover and wait an additional minute before attempting again.
Remove Residual Adhesive: Use a fine-tooth comb to gently comb through your natural hair, removing any remaining adhesive residue. Apply additional remover if necessary to dissolve stubborn residue.
Wash and Condition Your Hair: After all extensions and adhesive residues are removed, wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo to eliminate any leftover remover. Follow up with a deep conditioning treatment to restore moisture and maintain hair health.
